BOSTON (WPRI) – Boston police found the suspect who stole a Wally the Green Monster costume.
The theft happened around 2:30 p.m. on Friday near Boylston and Dartmouth streets according to WBZ TV.
The suspect, who was wearing the costume, was seen running at Boylston and Fairfield streets following the incident.
The theif was a Redsox employee, who did not inform the supervisor that he was borrowing the costume.
The employee allegedly set out with the intention of spreading good cheer across Boston.
