PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Good news for motorists: Gas prices in Rhode Island have dropped for the second week in a row.
AAA Southern New England says in its weekly survey Monday that self-serve regular unleaded is averaging $2.72 a gallon. That's three cents less than last week and a five-cent drop over the last two weeks.
The current price is six cents above the national average.
A separate survey last week from the state Office of Energy Resources lists the average price as $2.76.
