PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The issue of same-sex marriage in Rhode Island launched dueling protests and rallies outside the State House.
The National Organization for Marriage stopped by the State House Sunday as part of a multi-city tour.
The group is trying to gather support to reserve marriage as only between a man and a woman.
A local group, Queer Action of Rhode Island , held a counter-rally nearby.
The National Organization for Marriage says "natural law" dictates marriage is between a man and a woman.
But Queer Action for Rhode Island says that's discriminatory.
