PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The economy is a top focus of Providence Mayor David Cicilline's State of the City Address .
Cicilline says he will spend the next year focusing on tow major, job-related initiatives.
The first calls for the creation of a $2.5 million green job training program.
It would place 200 residents in green employment.
The second initiative calls for the distribution of ten million dollars to help small businesses.
The mayor also touted the creation of four family success centers.
There is one for each neighborhood of the city to help families secure home heating funds, job training and financial counseling.
