PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Rhode Islanders looking to cast their ballots in this year's general election have less than a week to register to vote.
The deadline for voter registrations is Sunday, Oct. 7.
Residents can register and vote on Election Day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 6, at the site designated by each local Board of Canvassers.
Although, anyone that chooses to do that will only be allowed to vote for president and not for any local or state races.
