West Warwick cops seek chase suspect

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - West Warwick Police are searching for a suspect wanted on several charges, and investigators warn he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police say Darshon Braxton led them on a high speed chase in a stolen car last week. He allegedly crashed the car, and ran off from the scene.

Officials say Braxton is a known gang member, and has several past convictions. His photo has been posted on the Rhode Island's Most Wanted website .

Braxton is described as being about 5' 7", 160 pounds, and has several tattoos. His last known residence is in West Warwick .

Anyone with information about Darshon Braxton, is asked to call the West Warwick Police Department at (401) 821-4323, extension 1127.
