PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The wife and son of a notorious local mobster who were caught up in an FBI sting are looking to cut a deal.

Dorothy St. Laurent and her son, Anthony St. Laurent Jr. are charged with extortion.

The duo, along with Anthony "The Saint" St. Laurent, are accused of shaking down bookies in Southeastern Massachusetts.

The two have asked a judge for more time for plea negotiations.
