Andrew Adamson joined the Eyewitness News team as a video journalist and morning reporter in May 2012.
Andrew traded one coast for another, making the move from the ABC affiliate in Reno, Nev., to Rhode Island. While in the Silver State, Andrew covered a pair of devastating wildfires that displaced 20,000 people from their homes. He also shared the story of the first paraplegic man to ever ski to the South Pole.
Previously, Andrew served as a sports anchor and reporter in upstate New York. He followed Jets and Giants training camps during stints in Rochester and Binghamton. Andrew also hosted and produced a weekly show on the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators.
Andrew is a Michigan native and graduated with a broadcast journalism degree from Indiana University. He's excited to make his new home in Rhode Island and hopes to explore all of the beautiful beaches and tasty restaurants the area has to offer. You can email Andrew ideas or news tips at
