Susan Hogan is the Emmy Award-winning "Call 12 for Action Problem Solver" on Eyewitness News Live at 5:30.
Susan has earned six Emmy Nominations, including one Emmy for her investigative reporting.
Her continued commitment to solving problems and helping her viewers goes back more than 16 years.
Susan graduated from Syracuse University, with a degree in Consumer Studies. She began her television career working at WCVB-TV in Boston.
Susan's desire to produce and report her own stories sent her to Bangor, Maine where she began her on-air career as anchor and consumer reporter at the ABC affiliate.
In September of 1992, Susan joined the Eyewitness News Team as the consumer reporter. Since Susan began "Call 12 for Action," she receives thousands of phone calls, emails and letters each year.
The success of "Call 12 for Action" relies on viewers problems and Susan's ability to solve them.
Susan has recovered millions of dollars for consumers, put bad contractors in prison, changed laws that now provide better safeguards for homeowners against unscrupulous contractors. She's also saved homes from foreclosure, helped dozens of people to get their unemployment checks when they couldn't do it on their own.
Susan recently was awarded the prestigious Justice Award by Attorney General Patrick Lynch. She was recognized for her dedication and commitment to consumer protection.
Susan is a native New Englander. She now lives in Rhode Island with her three children.
