Nneka Nwosu

Nneka Nwosu joined the Eyewitness News team in September 2008 and is thrilled to be covering Southern New England.

Previously, Nneka worked as a reporter for News 10 Now in Syracuse, N.Y. During her two years there, she covered everything from snowstorms, breaking news, local politics, and more snow. Prior to Upstate New York, Nneka wrote and produced for BET News. She began her journalism career as an intern for the late Peter Jennings.
 
Nneka received a Bachelors degree from Princeton University. The following year, she earned her masters degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. The thesis documentary she co-produced won Columbia’s award for outstanding local reporting.

Nneka was born of Nigerian parentage, but grew up in Philadelphia. You may find her cheering for a Philly sports team, eating, or running around Providence!
