Gas prices continue to fall

This is the third straight week of decreases

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Gas prices are down again in Rhode Island this week.

According to AAA Southern New England , prices fell another two cents this week, marking the third straight week of declining prices.

The latest survey results show that the average price for self-serve, regular unleaded gas in the state is $3.39.

The current price is 12 cents above the national average of $3.27.

A year ago, Rhode Island's average price was $3.06.

Rhode Island gas prices range anywhere from a high of $3.73 to a low of $3.21.

Drivers are advised to shop around for the best prices in their area.
