Taunton teacher facing sex charges

TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) - A Taunton High School teacher is being held on $100,000 bail after pleading not guilty to statutory rape charges.
Patrick Doyle, 33, is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl at his Seekonk home on at least three occasions.
He is also accused of texting lewd pictures of himself to that girl, and two other teenagers.
"A 33-year-old teacher shouldn't be having sex with a 14-, 15-year-old student. That's a pedophile right there," said Angelica Steward, a Taunton High School student.
Doyle was arrested Tuesday.
Taunton High School placed Doyle on leave earlier this month, when the allegations first surfaced.
Police are investigating if there are any other victims.
