Seekonk bank robbed by male suspect

SEEKONK, Mass. (WPRI) - Police are on the lookout for a lone suspect in connection with a Seekonk bank robbery.

At about 11:22 a.m. Thursday officers responded the Bank of America branch located at 1021 Fall River Ave.

They describe the suspect as a white male, age 30 to 40, about 5’10” tall, with long hair and a scruffy beard.  

The suspect was wearing a black hat, a dark waist-length coat, and dark-colored athletic pants which had a light-colored stripe on the outside of each leg.  

No weapon was shown during the robbery and the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The amount of cash taken is also unkown.    

Persons who may have witnessed the robbery or saw the suspect fleeing are asked to call Seekonk Police Detectives at
508-336-7027.

Additionally, the public is asked to view the attached images and contact the Seekonk Police Department Detective Division if the suspect is recognized.
