PLAINVILLE, Mass. (WPRI) - The writer of a series of popular kids' books now owns a historic landmark in downtown Plainville.

Jeff Kinney purchased the old Falk's Market at the corner of East Bacon and South Streets for $300,000. The building pre-dates the Civil War.
