Charlotte, NC (WPRI) - Prosecutors in North Carolina are reviewing evidence against the man accused of murdering a former Rehoboth resident.

30-year old Brandon Blakeney is accused of killing his wife, Catherine Ahern Blakeney in their Charlotte, North Carolina home on December 27, 2011.

The victim was a 1995 graduate of Dighton-Rehoboth High School.

Prosecutors are still deciding whether to seek the death penalty in the case.

A decision is expected sometime in April.
