Wynn considers building casino in Foxboro

FOXBORO, MASS. (WPRI) - A casino developer met with New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft about a possible casino in Foxboro.

Kraft hosted casino developer Steve Wynn at Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.

Wynn has developed several casinos in Las Vegas.

He said if a casino is built in Foxboro, it wouldn't be as flashy as the Las Vegas ones.

But Kraft said no plans to build a casino would move forward unless Foxboro residents gave their approval.

In November, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick signed a bill into law that would approve three resort-style casinos and one slot parlor in the Bay State.
