FALL RIVER, Mass. (WPRI) - A judge has dropped a charge against one of three suspects charged in connection with the death of a Fall River man, whose body was found rolled up in a carpet off Little Compton.
Neidy Mendez, 32, is no longer facing an accessory after the fact charge. She was originally accused of helping her brother, Arnaldo Flores, and her boyfriend, Carlos Garcia, dispose of the body of Osvaldo Martinez last December. Flores is charged with Martinez's murder.
Mendez's attorney argued that she could not be charged as an accessory after the fact because of her relation.
