82 names added to Mass. war memorials

Attleboro holds rededication ceremony

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) - Today marked the 20th Anniversary of the Rededication Ceremony honoring residents of Attleboro who have served during World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

82 names were added to war monuments at Veterans Memorial Common on Sunday.

30 names were added to the World War II monument, 23 were added to the Korean War monument and 29 were added to the Vietnam War monument.

A rose was placed for each veteran or a veteran's family member in attendance.
