ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) - A man accused of breaking into a local home is caught red handed after the owners return home and catch him in the act.
Police in Attleboro say 32 year old Jason Burns broke into a home on Phillips Street just before 8 p.m. Friday night.
While he was inside, the owner of the home was pulling up her driveway when she noticed something suspicious and called police.
After noticing that officers were at the home, Burns tried to take off, but was arrested after a struggle.
Burns is facing several charges, including breaking & entering with intent commit felony, larceny over $250, resisting arrest, intimidation of a witness and assault.
He is expected to be arraigned Monday morning.
