NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WPRI) - Flames tore through an abandoned funeral home in New Bedford on Wednesday morning, and investigators are looking into how it started.
The fire broke out around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the building on County Street.
Responding firefighters were ordered to pull out of the building a short time after they arrived, and instead work from the outside.
No injuries have been reported.
