Man killed in Westerly motorcycle crash
Struck oncoming car, thrown from bike

WESTERLY, R.I. (WPRI) - A man was killed Sunday night in a motorcycle accident on Winnapaug Rd. in Westerly.
Police said Powell Bell, 37, struck an oncoming vehicle and was thrown from his bike. Emergency crews rushed Bell to Westerly Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said the driver of the vehicle, 49-year-old Angelo Urso, of Westerly, was not injured. The accident remains under investigation by the police department's accident reconstruction division.
