The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, the United States Coast Guard, and Police and Fire departments were all called in for a boat in distress on the Providence River.
Coast guard officials say a man called 911 this afternoon as his boat started to capsize. Three other people were on board. When crews arrived, they found the four people on the hull of the boat safely.
People at the Rhode Island Yacht Club and other good samaritans also assisted.
One person was treated for minor hypothermia on the scene, but there were no other injuries.
