Man beaten to death in Taunton
Victim dropped off at hospital

TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) - A Florida man was beaten to death Tuesday night in Taunton, police confirmed. It happened in the area of 584 Bay St.
Taunton Police said someone then dropped the victim, Chad Fleming, 31, off at Morton Hospital around 11:15 p.m.
Police said Fleming was already dead upon arrival to the hospital. They do not know who dropped off the body.
No arrests have been made in connection with the homicide. However, police arrested Nelson Melo, 22, of Taunton on charges of witness intimidation in connection to the crime.
Melo will be arraigned Wednesday in Taunton District Court.
