How Target 12 Investigators collected pension data

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Target 12 analyzed only pensions being collected by the retired worker, and not widow payments or court-ordered payments to a spouse as a result of a divorce.

Towns or individual pension systems listed with an asterisk are towns or pension systems now in the state retirement system. This means there may be retirees still in the old municipal pension system not reflected in our data.
