PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - In a web extra, Providence's top cop says he is going to stay the course when it comes to crime-fighting in the city.
Providence's Police Chief Col. Dean Esserman talks one-on-one with Target 12 Investigator Tim White on the recent spike in violence in the capital city.
Providence has already had 11 homicides. Four of them within the last eight days.
The most recent murder was Sunday on Trask St., during which police said one gang member gunned down another gang member.
