Mayor Cicilline on budget proposal

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - "The Governor's proposal calls for serious cuts that will have a significant impact on cities and towns. However, for the first time, the proposal also offers relief from state-imposed mandates that are worthy of careful review by everyone. The only way for cities and towns to absorb cuts on this scale is to have relief from state mandates that gives local leaders maximum flexibility."
