Deadly crash closes Rt. 295 ramp

LINCOLN, R.I. (WPRI) - A serious car crash forced police to close down a ramp from Route 295 South from Route 146 South Monday afternoon in Lincoln.
Officers say the driver lost control of his vehicle and flipped over. The victim was then thrown from the vehicle. An Eyewitness News crew confirmed one person was killed in the crash.
Rhode Island State Police is handling the investigation.No further details are available at this time.
