PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Rhode Island U.S. Representative Patrick Kennedy will meet face to face with Diocese of Providence Bishop Thomas Tobin .

The two confirmed they will meet on November 12th to talk about President Obama's health care reform plan .

Last month, Kennedy was highly critical of the Catholic Church for opposing the bill.

The church says it could lead to taxpayer financed abortions.
