JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - State regulators have cited a Johnston daycare after its staff members accidentally locked a toddler inside.
Regulators cited the "My Special Place Learning Center" for lack of supervision and negligence.
The toddler was locked inside two weeks ago. The mistake was discovered when the mother arrived at the same time she always did to find the building shut down for the night.
Days after the incident, DCYF put the center on probation and banned it from accepting new children.
