PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - Health officials are urging parents who are dissatisfied with when their child's school will be vaccinated for H1N1 to be patient.
Some parents say they are upset because their child's school is at the end of the vaccination schedule and won't be getting the second shot until mid-January.
But health officials say no students will be getting the second shot until mid-January. They say the delay will help them vaccinate every student with the first shot as quickly as possible.
Health officials also say the schedule was chosen at random by a computer and no schools received any preferential treatment.
