Walk held in honor of fallen teacher

Money raised will go to a scholarship in his name

CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WPRI) - The family and friends of Central Falls teacher Michael Occhi held a walk in his honor on Saturday.

Occhi was killed back in July in a hit and run crash.

Police charged former Little Compton teacher, Thomas Fennessey,  with driving under the influence in connection with the crash.

Saturday's walk helped raise money for a student scholarship in Occhi's name.
