BARRINGTON, R.I. (WPRI) - Barrington Police are called in to settle a celebrity couple's custody dispute.

According to the police report, former Miss USA, reality show star, and Barrington native, Shanna Moakler, called police to assist with a child exchange Tuesday.

When officers showed up to 425 County Road, Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker was in the parking lot.

Moakler and Barker have 2 kids together, 5 year old Landon and 3 year old Alabama. Barker was in Barrington to drop them off, but had a an issue with the nanny.

Barker told police he didn't want to leave the kids in the residence with a pedophile and wanted a certified nanny with the kids.

Moakler provided the officers with the couple's court order that explained the children's visitation schedule. That order did not require that a nanny be certified, but did state that a particular person was not allowed near the children. The person's name is redacted from the police report.

The report says that a vehicle registered to that person was parked outside the building. The officers said that person wasn't there at the time, but his wife was.

After a short discussion, Barker agreed to leave the kids with Moakler as long as he was given the names and phone numbers of the two nannies staying with them.

After Barker left, Moakler asked police about a restraining order. One of the officers informed her how to obtain one.

Barker and Moakler were married in 2004 and divorced in 2006. Since then, they've reunited and separated several times.

Shanna Moakler is a graduate of Barrington High School. The property where the dispute took place is owned by John W. Moakler III.
