Happened on Fisher Street in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Mass. (WPRI) - Crews are on scene in Franklin after a person is struck and killed by a train.

An MBTA spokesperson tells Eyewitness News a railroad trespasser was struck and killed by an outbound Franklin Line train.

According to the MBTA website "due to a medical emergency all outbound rail service will terminate at Franklin/Dean College. A substitute bus shuttle will operate between Forge Park/495 & Franklin/Dean College."

They also say to anticipate significant delays and allow extra time for your commute.
