Deaven Tucker's murder trial continues

Witness testifed that Tucker smashed murder weapon

PROVIDENCE, R.I., (WPRI) - A murder trial continued on Wednesday in Providence.

Taking the stand, a witness who testified that Deaven Tucker smashed a gun used to kill Jennifer Duarte.

Tucker is accused of shooting his girlfriend to death back in 2006.

Police say she was an accomplice in a bank heist the two pulled off together at a Sovereign Bank on Elmgrove Avenue in Providence.
