CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - The Cranston Police Department is investigating two cases of vandalism in the same area which they believe to be connected.
Investigators were called to Meatball Mike's on Saturday for a broken window and a broken lightbulb. They found a marble on the sidewalk outside the Gansett Avenue establishment.
A short time later, a vandalism complaint at the Thai Orchid on Park Avenue was called in.
Police found the window had a similar size hole as the one at Meatball Mike's. However, no marble was found.
Both businesses suffered combined damages of over $1,000. No arrests have been made.
