WEST GREENWICH, R.I. (WPRI) -- State police have identified the woman who died in a two-car crash Saturday morning.

77 year-old Dorothy Corp of Coventry was a passenger in the right rear seat of a GMC SUV when it was struck by a Nissan Murano on Route 3 near Interstate 95.  The GMC caught fire after being hit by the Nissan and people who stopped and attempted to help could not get her out of the vehicle.

Corp's husband, 79 year-old Bruce H. Corp, was driving, and their son Bruce A. Corp was in the front passenger seat.  They were both taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The Nissan Murano was driven by 42 year-old Dina Damico, who was driving her mother, 65 year-old Kathleen Damico, up from Pennsylvania to visit relatives somewhere in Massachusetts.  They were both hospitalized for non life-threatening injuries.

State Police Sgt. Steven Flood said the accident is still under investigation.
