WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) -- A water main break in Warwick has been repaired, but road repairs are still forthcoming.
City officials tell Eyewitness News that the break was reported on Sunnyside Drive, off Sandy Lane, at about 7:30 Wednesday morning.
Residents there were without water for about six hours, but crews have restored service and expect to have repairs to the main and water drainage finished by the end of the day.
Permanent repairs to the road are still necessary and will be completed sometime in the future.
Officials say they recommend residents on Sunnyside run a faucet for a few moments to flush the water before using it.
