WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) -- Local boxer Vinny Paz has run afoul of the law again.
Warwick Police tell Eyewitness News that Paz has been charged with two misdemeanors - vandalism and disorderly conduct - after an incident Wednesday morning at the Grid Iron Ale House & Grill on Post Road.
According to a report, Paz refused to pay a $23 bill at the bar. The bartender asked Paz to pay multiple times and finally approached the boxer, telling him to pay up and leave the establishment. Paz refused and smashed two bar stools against the bar and then threw them.
A friend of Paz's got between Paz and the bartender because Paz "kept coming at him." Paz eventually left. Warwick Police arrived as he was going to his car.
He is due back in Warwick District Court on January 28th.
