WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - A late night fire in Warwick is under investigation.

Flames broke out just before 10 pm Thursday in a home on Centreville Rd.

Firefighters told Eyewitness News the woman inside and her two grandchildren were able to get out safely.

The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the displaced family.

There is no word on a cause at this time, but investigators said the fire may have started in the living room area.
