WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) -- State Troopers made their fourth DWI arrest this weekend early Sunday morning.
Troopers arrested 31 year-old Terrence Gilligan of Jamestown at about 1:30am on Route 95 South in Warwick after receiving a 911 call from another motorist reporting a possibly intoxicated operator.
Troopers were able to locate and stop Gilligan, who appeared to be highly intoxicated. State Police report his Blood Alcohol Content readings were .282% and .273%. He was charged with DUI and held overnight pending his arraignment.
It's the fourth DUI arrest that the State Police made this weekend; one of those came after a suspected drunk driver struck a State Police cruiser on Route 37 Saturday morning.
