WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - A Department of Public Works employee has been fired from his position after additional information from an internal review was released.
According to Warwick police, Kenneth Naylor, 47, was arrested back in September after he was seen leaving work in Warwick with a gas can and assorted tools.
The termination was reportedly related to the incident.
The police investigation has been forwarded to the attorney general's office for further review.
The mayor's office says the practice of allowing city employees to borrow small tools has been rescinded.
