(WPRI) - Notorious Warwick serial killer Craig Price will be getting help in his appeal for an early release.
The Providence Journal reports that the State Supreme Court has appointed a lawyer to argue Price's appeal case: attorney Susan Iannitelli, who's also represented such high-profile clients as Jeffrey Scott Hornoff.
Two weeks ago, the court denied Price's request to return to Rhode Island from prison in Florida to argue the appeal of his 25-year sentence for criminal contempt. He'd become eligible to be freed from prison when he turned 21, but was found in contempt for refusing to undergo court-ordered psychological testing.
At that time, the court did grant Price the opportunity to ask for a lawyer to be appointed to present oral arguments on his behalf.
