RICHMOND, R.I. (WPRI) - The Department of Health confirms a new case of whooping cough at Chairho Middle School.
Officials say this appears to be an isolated incident, but they're keeping an eye on it.
The school notified students' parents after it was reported on Monday.
There was a Pertussis outbreak in Barrington last month. At last check, there were 21 confirmed cases in town.
