Police seek to ID liquor store thief

Suspect stole Gray Goose from 2 Cranston stores

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- Cranston Police are attempting to identify a suspect responsible for two liquor store heists.

The first theft occurred on August 31st around 2 p.m. when a suspect entered the Heritage Liquors store on Reservoir Avenue and concealed two bottle of Gray Goose Vodka and left the store without paying for them.

The suspect left the Reservoir Avenue store in a 1996 Olds Cutlass silver car with Rhode Island registration A544.

The second theft happened on September 3rd when the same suspect entered Discount Liquors Shoppe on 1294 Park Avenue and stole one bottle of Gray Goose Vodka.

This time, he left in an unknown vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male with a bald head.
