WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) - Area police officers spent their Saturday flipping burgers and slinging french fries to raise money for charity.

The Tip-A-Cop event lasted all day at the Red Robin in Warwick. In addition to cooking up the food, officers also waited tables and greeted guests.

All proceeds from the event are donated to the Special Olympics.
