CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- An accident in Cranston caused major delays as a utility pole was snapped in two pieces.

A Cranston driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a utility pole, snapping it in two, and forcing police to close down Route 2 / Resevoir Avenue while repairs were made.
