CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- The Department of Labor and Training's call center will begin taking calls again after it reported a power outage Wednesday morning.
DLT Communications Manager, Laura Hart, reported that strong storms this morning knocked out power to the agency's call center around 7 a.m.
The DLT was unable to accept calls to file unemployment or TDI claims for about three and a half hours.
The call center also says it will be extending its hours until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
In addition to calling the DLT, filing can be done online at www.dlt.ri.gov
