COVENTRY, R.I. (WPRI) - If you're driving through Coventry, be sure to take a detour down Blue Spruce Drive for a light show that is sure to make your holiday.

Tyler Horrocks has halls -- and entire front yard decked for Christmas. You can forget the boughs of holly. He's got a grand total of 62,150 lights. Oh yea, and they're all set to music! There are about 100 songs you can hear from your car on a low powered radio station thanks to a hacked iPod transmitter.

"So an average song takes about two days to program," Horrocks told Eyewitness News. "The frequency goes out about 500 feet now."

A few year ago, Tyler rolled out a bin for an optional donation. This year's collection is set to help a family friend who was seriously injured in a car wreck.

"So, we're just raising money for them for their medical bills," Horrocks said.

Tyler says he already has plans for next year. He hopes to add at least another 10,000 lights to the display.

The Crazy Christmas House will be lit up on Christmas Eve from 4:30pm-6:00am, and then on Christmas Day from 4:30pm-12:00am. For more information, you can find the Crazy Christmas House on Facebook.
