CRANSTON , R.I. (WPRI) – Cleanup from Blizzard 2013 is still ongoing.

More snow is expected on Wednesday night into Thursday morning and Cranston Mayor Alan Fung says his city is in good shape financially to combat the snow removal costs.

“Money is not going to be a concern as these operations come forward," he said. "We are going to do what we have to do to make up, that’s why we have a reserve. We want to make sure our streets are passable and safe for the public."

Pawtucket Mayor Donald Grebien said they only spent $100,000 of their $400,000 for snow removal on the blizzard.

The city of Providence on the other hand has had problems with the snow removal process. On Tuesday, two school buses got stuck in the snow and had to be shoveled out.

Mayor Fung said that being prepared is key.
