Cranston schools submit $140.2M budget

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- Cranston's school Superintendent Judith Lundsten requested more than $140 million for the next fiscal year's budget.

She said the schools need a $6.2 million dollar budget increase to pay for increases in salaries, as well as pension and health insure expenses.

Lundsten argued that teachers have not had a pay raise in three years.
